I am now 26.4 pounds down in total on the official scale! I think this might mean I am officially a size 12! I am, little by little going, through my clothes and weeding out. I have gotten rid of 2 garbage bags full so far and have a grocery bag full and more to try on.
I should sell it all on eBay, which I did the last time I lost weight...then I had to go buy bigger and bigger sizes again as I gained of course! Dammit!
I did keep my thin clothes, though, as I felt like I didn't get enough chance to wear them the last time I was this size!
The plan this time is to get all the way to goal and learn how to stay there! For once stay a healthy weight!
I am so happy the scale keeps going in the right direction. It is still under 3 lbs. per week which I am not thrilled with being the diet claims 3-4 per week for women but that's for people who don't cheat!...which we know I do...regularly!
I decorated candles for my wedding today. I am not particularly crafty(like at all!)so am pretty pleased they came out ok. Fancy candles cost a lot! I did all 3 for about $20 I think.
Hi Linny,
ReplyDeleteI am starting the ideal protein plan on May 10th, and I just finished getting caught up on all of your blogs.
I enjoy your sense of humor and your ability to say it like it is.
My goal is 60lbs, and I would like to be there by July 14th. There will be no room for cheating as well.
I look foward to watching you shrink.
Tina

ReplyDeleteHi Tina! Thank you for reading! I appreciate it. Become a follower(if you want to). Are you giving yourself 10 weeks to lose 60 pounds? That is not enough time. In 10 weeks losing 30-40 is totally doable. 3-4 is average, altho 1st week especially, you can lose more.
ReplyDeleteTry to remember we didn't gain our weight that fast, it crept up on us(so we barely noticed everything was getting too freaking tight!), so trying to lose it too fast can be dangerous. It's ok that it takes time b/c we become more used to eating less and making healthy eating a habit we are able to continue for life.
I was 166.7 this morning down from 193.5(my scale)and want to get down to 150. At Christmas I was actually 202 but lost a little before starting Ideal Protein.
Keep me posted on how you are doing and don't forget the salt and water is super important!
You are very pretty-great cheekbones!
I was in the accounting field, as well(lost my job last year) and am also not a typical bean counter-way more a people person that a numbers person! And you know the old joke-what do accountants use for birth control? Their personalities!
Good luck!-Lin
Happy Monday Linny, this is my first day on my plan. Not too worry I do not plan to lose in 10 weeks, as like you I am striving for the 4 lbs per week.
ReplyDeleteI had the cereal this morning - not too bad, but my water was not cold enough.
I love your accounting joke - good one. I was laid off a year and 1/2 ago and decided that the world needed me in a different way - so I created Accountess.
Looking forward to reading more from you.
Have a great day!
Hi Tina!
ReplyDeleteGood luck w/ your 1st week.
I like the cereal but the water has to be refrigerated like if we were using milk. I made the mistake once of not using water from the brita filter in the fridge and is was weird.(I so miss berries on my morning cereal!)
I keep messing up on weekends-I think b/c of getting married in under 3 weeks is freaking me out big time! I need to stay on track and not be distracted from my goal. Of course getting remarried after 20 years of being single is a bit distracting!
If you start to feel dizzy at all-do what they say about putting the 1/2 tsp sea salt in a glass of water and drink it. I have it that way every morning b/c it easier to get it down all at once than making all my food seem too salty and I get dizzy by noon if I don't sometimes. I fainted that 1 time and don't want another black eye!
So, tell me about Accountess! Sounds intriguing.
Have a fabulous week and a big loss!-Lin
I just found your site-I'll check it out.
